About the conference
The 2022 International Conference on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is for researchers in business and social sciences who apply and advance the PLS-SEM method. The conference will cover best-practice applications of PLS-SEM in various disciplines. In particular, we welcome PLS-SEM applications in marketing, international business, strategic management, information systems, accounting, human resource management, organizational behavior, service management, operations management, and innovation management. However, submissions from fields outside the social sciences that use PLS-SEM are highly welcome (e.g., computer science, engineering, medicine, etc.).
The conference also provides a platform for the fruitful exchange of new concepts and methodological advances in the field such as factor- vs. composite-based model estimation, explanatory vs. predictive model assessment, and longitudinal data analysis.
The conference will also feature special sessions in Chinese. See the full call for papers.
In addition to the 3-day conference, there will be pre-conference workshops and a half-day cultural immersion trip after the conference. Submissions will also be considered for awards and publication in special issues and the proceedings volume.

Submissions
Submissions will be accepted in one of the three categories: (1) Abstract, (2) Full Paper, and (3) Special Session proposals. All submissions must fully adhere to the formatting guidelines. Please submit abstracts, full papers, or special session proposals using the EasyChair conference management system.
Abstract submissions are limited to 1,500 words in the main text (excluding figures, tables, and references) and may contain tables and figures. All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the conference proceedings. Authors can further develop the abstracts into a full paper to be submitted to one of the special issues. All abstract submissions will be double blind reviewed.
Full paper submissions must not exceed 6,000 words in the main text (excluding figures, tables, and references). Submissions must not include any author identification. Full papers can be submitted to one of the special issues. Alternatively, authors can also choose to publish their accepted full papers in the conference proceedings. All full paper submissions will be double blind reviewed.
Special sessions seek to provide the time and space for groups of scholars to pool their research in one session. Special session proposals should cover a complete session (three or four papers). Proposals should contain a 50-word bio of each speaker and a description of the session (max 1,500 words) that describes the overarching topic of the session, emphasizing how PLS path modeling is applied or advanced. The proposal should also describe each presentation and explain how the presentations connect to and complement each other. The evaluation of proposals is done by the conference co-chairs and will be based on the quality of the proposal and the level of interest the session is likely to raise at the conference.
